Dr. Saima Rafi was born and raised in Pakistan, where her early interest in the human body and a commitment to helping others led her to pursue a career in medicine. She earned her medical degree from Hamdard College of Medicine & Dentistry in Karachi, Pakistan. Her medical education and professional experiences have instilled in her the resilience and ambition that define her approach today.
Dr. Rafi is pleased to join the community in Poplar Bluff. She chose the residency program at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for its welcoming atmosphere, tailored curriculum, and the strong sense of camaraderie between residents and attendings. She is eager to continue her professional development as a physician within this environment.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Rafi enjoys reading, journaling, exploring new locations and cuisines, and spending time with her family and friends.
