Dr. Sehrish Khan was born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Karachi, Pakistan. She attended medical school at Karachi Medical and Dental College. Dr. Khan is very passionate about creating awareness of primary disease prevention and promoting lifestyle modification. She hopes to bring a change by reducing healthcare delivery disparities and increasing access among underserved communities, particularly the rural population. While preparing for the residency match, she volunteered as a crisis counselor and aims to continue working to improve mental health and well-being and fight the stigma associated with mental illnesses. She is interested in oncology, geriatric, and addiction medicine. Outside of work, she likes to cook and explore new cuisines, read historical fiction, watch true crime shows, and spend time with her family and her cat.
