Dr. Yaqoob Khan attended medical school at Khyber Medical College in Pakistan and graduated in 2008 and considers Philadelphia, Pennsylvania his hometown. Dr. Khan chose Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center’s Internal Medicine Residency Program because he really liked the Poplar Bluff area and could see himself working here in the future.
When asked what impact Dr. Khan would like to have on the healthcare community after residency, he said that he wants to continue to learn more about hospital medicine and treat sick patients and people that truly need help in a small community.
